On Saturday 13th February, we will be at Fodder Food Hall, Organic Farm Shop and Cafe. Fodder will be stocking our handcrafted dry, medium and pear cider.

From 11am we will be there handing out samples to the visitors of this award winning establishment.

The resurgence of cider drinking is being seen everywhere, including the Capital. We are proud to announce that Colemans Cider is now available in Borough Market.

We were very pleased to have the opportunity to conduct an interview with the Yorkshire Post and we think the article is amazing.
The interview gave us a chance to show what we have been able to accomplish in such a short, and at times very hectic, space of time, whilst still showing and explaining the reason we started this in the first place.

We are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Wassail will be taking place in Lauren’s Orchard on Saturday 16th January 2015. After the success of last years event, we are making this even bigger and after a bumper crop of apples which has allowed us to upsclae production 10 fold, we hope this will be as great a sucess.
The event will begin at 2pm with the blessing of the trees in the typical fashion of chants and following the Green Man.
We at Colemans are excited for this event as it will be the first time we unveil the new expanded range of handcrafted traditional and fruit ciders.
As well as our own noise being made to awaken over 70 apple trees, there will be live music a long with great food.
This will truly be an event for all the family and everyone is encouraged to bring something they can bang to make noise to help us in our blessing. Children are especially welcome to help us hang our messages and good wishes for a fruitful harvest next season.

With four TV series under her belt, Rachel Green’s most recent appearance was on BBC3 as the chef in Kill It! Cook It! Eat It !

Now she has agreed to work with us at Colemans Cider to keep you up-to-date with her cider blog and a tasty treat for you to have  go at making.

Why we need your apples?

In order to make lots more delicious cider for all you lovely people out there we need far more apples than we can currently lay our hands on.

So why’s that? Well, despite planting lots of new cider apple trees and the generosity of those of you who already offer us your surplus apples, we still don’t have anything like enough to keep up with demand.

This is made even worse by the fact that we only ever make our cider from 100% Yorkshire Wolds apple juice.

Thus we desperately need your help to help us grow the business and make more handcrafted yorkshire cider.

Even better we will give you free apple juice and/or cider for apples and perry pears.

A craft cider and beer festival with excellent food and wonderful music. With over 20 different ciders on offer from breweries such as Hecks, Abrahalls and Skidbrooke as well as own Colemans Cider. There will also be draft and bottled beer from The Hop Studio and Brass Castle. In the afternoon, the Vintage Tea Stall will offer cake, tea and coffee, whilst the evening will have culinary delights from the Wolrd Curry Festival.

Children will be entertained by skittles and the strongman hammer and have their face painted before having their photo taken with friends or family at the professional photobooth.

Throughout the festival there will be live music from local artists which will have you dancing and enjoying the atmosphere until the close of the festival.

Our first Mid Cider Nights Dream festival is now live on Eventbrite to buy tickets. Click the poster above to head over to the ticket site. The festival will have a very relaxed feel to it with a village fete atmosphere in the afternoon blending into a more festival-like event in the evening. The event will also give us at Colemans Cider Company a chance to launch our cider brand whilst bringing other craft and farmhouse ciders to our corner of East Yorkshire. After the success of last years Cider season, we decided to upgrade our kit. A brand new press will allow us to get more juice our of the same amount of apples. The mill chops and shreds the apples finer to extract even more of the juice. Exciting times ahead, never looked forward to autumn so much.
